Don't know yet whether or not this means he's a no-go for Saturday's game against the Canucks, but as of right now it would seem like John Curry is the healthy option.
According to the Trib-Review:
Fleury was injured Thursday night in a win at Edmonton when a shot caught his glove awkwardly in the second period. He went to the bench, where video replays showed his bloody finger was wrapped. However, Fleury finished that game, making 33 saves for his third win in four starts on a five-game road trip.
Credit to Fleury for soldiering on through the injury to seal the comeback win Thursday night.
With Brent Johnson on the IR and Fleury now dealing with a fractured finger, there's a good chance the Penguins may rely on John Curry to step in as the starter Saturday night against the Canucks. Depending on the severity of MAF's injury, there's always a chance we may see another call up over the next 24 hrs or so. Odd as it may sound, the Pens could start tomorrow night's game with both Fleury and Johnson listed as scratches.
