Welcome the all new From the Rink

From_the_rink_mediumIf you were hanging around these parts last night during the Open Thread then chances are you caught my quick comment on the relaunch of SBN's hockey blog From the Rink.  If not, well, that's why I'm typing up this post.

From the Rink was founded by James Mirtle, a man who needs no introduction in the hockey blogosphere.  He is currently working the Maples Leafs beat for the Globe and Mail and given the grueling schedule and amount of work, had to cut back on some of his daily blogging duties over at the blog.  He'll still post from time to time, but in an effort to keep content flowing through without adding more work to the already busy Mirtle, SBN recently employed the likes of Mike Chen, formerly of Kukla's Korner.

From there, Mike recruited a team of co-writers and editors for the site, including Cory and Bob from Canes Country, Joe from Blueshirt Banter and me, your friendly neighborhood Penguins blogger.  We all plan on contributing to FTR while also keeping up with our own content across the network.

I'm happy to be part of the roster and hope you'll all consider adding From the Rink to your daily reading list.
