Interesting look to the lines this morning:
Kunitz-Crosby-Guerin
Talbot-Malkin-Dupuis
Cooke-Staal-Kennedy
Rupp-Letestu-Adams
Based off these, if they hold, much maligned players Ruslan Fedotenko and Alexei Ponikarovsky will be watching from the press box. Veteran forward Bill Guerin will be back and it seems likely Poni will sit to make way. It's unknown if Mike Rupp (who missed Game 4) will be back, he said he can go, remains to be seen if coach Dan Bylsma will tap him or Fedotenko for tonight.
Also interesting is Jordan Staal's status. Staal played limited 4th line minutes last game coming off the foot surgery but appears to be able to handle more of his regular role. The Pens appear to like Mark Letestu and are keeping him in the lineup and we know that Maxime Talbot and Craig Adams can also shift to center if there's a pinch.
To my knowledge, Evgeni Malkin hasn't played at the same time with Pascal Dupuis and Talbot. That'll also be something to keep an eye on: Geno's been burdened with Ponikarovsky and/or Fedotenko for much of the playoffs. Talbot and Dupuis are flying right now and playing much better than the aforementioned European wingers. Maybe their spark can help ignite Malkin.
It's almost time for the critical Game 5, where one team will face elimination in Game 6 back in Montreal. Let's do this.
