Boston gameday: Dustin Jeffrey's back, Asham out sick

The Penguins have scored exactly one goal in the last two games that Sidney Crosby has missed.  They'll look to get back to their winning ways tonight when they take on the Boston Bruins, in a game that will be televised nationally on Versus.

Yesterday at practice, Evgeni Malkin and Chris Conner were out from being "sick", but both skated this morning.  Still, word has come out that Dustin Jeffrey left WB/S practice this morning, en route to join the big club again.  Whether or not they intend to play him tonight remains to be seen.  Here were the lines from this morning's practice, including some fimiliar faces getting back together.

UPDATE: It's been announced that Arron Asham is the latest victim of the sickness that's spread through the lockeroom, he's been rules out for tonight's game.  Jeffrey will take Asham's spot in the lineup tonight, but it is unknown how he will be used.  In three games, Jeffrey has averaged 9:00 per game, scoring one goal and one assist in mainly 4th line minutes.

However, given the Penguins recent scoring drought, perhaps Jeffrey will get a golden opportunity to play a bigger role in the NHL.

Defensemen Brooks Orpik also missed practice yesterday, but returned to the ice today and is expected to be in the lineup against Boston.
