Whether it's been guys like Mark Letestu and Chris Conner, providing their spark early this season or guys like Dustin Jeffrey, Nick Johnson and Brett Sterling making the most of their opportunities now, the Penguins have had many guys step up and I think most of them have performed well despite their record the last few games.
Even guys like Joe Vitale, who at the beginning of this season was a 3rd line center in the AHL, have stepped into the NHL and made an impact.
Another bright spot is that players have also stepped up their game in the AHL, with the WBS Pens destroying Hershey 7-1 on Sunday for their 40th win of the season, and their 40-15 record is still best in the league by eight points.
Wanted to get everyone's thoughts on any of the AHL forwards that have stepped up and played in the NHL this season for the Pens in one organized place. With a few days off between games I wanted to leave you with the poll question and a discussion to hold you over until the Blackhawks on Sunday.
There might also be a WBS Update in the near future so check back for that over the weekend. And if you have Twitter, add me. My goal of 100 followers by the end of the NHL Pens regular season still has a long way to go.
