Pens and Tampa to open playoff series on Wednesday

From a team release:

The Penguins will open their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center.

Game 2 will be Friday at 7 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center.

The best-of-seven quarterfinal series then shifts to Tampa Bay for Games 3 and 4 on Monday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 20.

The broadcast schedule has not been announced by the NHL, but any Penguins game that is not a national TV broadcast will be carried locally by ROOT Sports.

Wednesday, April 13 Tampa Bay at PITTSBURGH 7:00 p.m.
Friday, April 15 Tampa Bay at PITTSBURGH 7:00 p.m.
Monday, April 18 Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 20 Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay 7:30 p.m.
