Free Agent Frenzy Recap: Day 1

There was plenty of action surrounding the Penguins camp on Day 1 of free agency.  We normally like to give stories a chance to breathe a bit here on the site but considering how quick some of the news broke we found ourselves pushing info down the site at a pretty alarming rate.

• Steve Sullivan signs a one-year, $1.5 mill deal with the Pens

Welcome Back

• Tyler Kennedy, who signed a two-year deal worth $2 mill per.

Thanks For The Memories

• Jaromir Jagr signs with the Flyers for one year, valued at $3.3 mill
• Max Talbot signed a five-year deal with the Flyers
• Mike Rupp signs with the Rangers for three years, $1.5 mill per

AHL Pens Welcome:

• Colin McDonald, who led the AHL last season with 42 goals, signed with the Baby Pens
