As announced by the NHL, we have a schedule for the soon to be epic Penguins vs. Flyers first round playoff matchup.
Game 1: Wednesday, April 11, 7:30 p.m. (NBC Sports Network) Game 2: Friday, April 13, 7:30 p.m. (NBC Sports Network) Game 3: Sunday, April 15, 3 p.m. (NBC) Game 4: Wednesday, April 18, 7:30 p.m. (NBC Sports Network) Game 5: Friday, April 20, 7:30 p.m. (NBC Sports Network) * Game 6: Sunday, April 22, (Time, TV network TBD) * Game 7: Tuesday, April 24, (Time, TV network TBD) * if necessaryThe biggest thing that stands out is the game between games 3 and 4. There was an arena conflict in Philly, so the Pens will get an extra day. Which is cool, because they can leave Sunday night and fly back to Pittsburgh and spend an extra two days at their home facilities. After that though, it's the standard every-other-day-schedule we're accustomed to for the Stanley Cup playoffs, which is a good thing. Now, the hard part is waiting until Wednesday night for the fun to begin.
