CBC X X Nothing published yet. What's up, guys?
CBS 3 1 Two road games in back-to-back days against two of the East's presumed favorites and they pick up two convincing wins? Not bad, eh? … Evgeni Malkin and James Neal are cruising already, and just wait until Sidney Crosby comes alive.
ESPN 4 X Did not publish as of 4 PM Eastern.
FOX 4 2 Two games, two strong defensive efforts for Pittsburgh. The big road wins came despite a combined 0-for-10 shooting performance by Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
The Hockey News X 2 When Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby are healthy to lead, the Penguins are a team on another level. Malkin and James Neal will continue to be a difficult duo to handle.
NHL X 2 They enter the season in a rare position -- with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang healthy at the same time. General manager Ray Shero solidified his goaltending by signing Tomas Vokoun to back up Marc-Andre Fleury. The wheels came off in a major way during the postseason against the Philadelphia Flyers, but there's no more offensively gifted team in the East than Pittsburgh.
Sports Illustrated 1 X Did not publish as of 4 PM Eastern.
TSN 1 X Nothing since January 11. Apparently they want a full week of games first.
Hockey Prospectus X X Nothing published yet.
