Memorable Moments: Sidney Crosby

Carrying a 3-game win streak (with points in 4 games straight), the Penguins traveled to New York to take on the Islanders. Their win streak is at 4 games, after a 3-2 overtime victory.

Coming off a sweep of the Florida road trip vs. the Lightning and Panthers, the Penguins carried their winning streak past the Islanders, coming from behind 2-0, to win the game 3-2 in overtime.

Single Moment: Because Sidney Crosby is the best player in the world, he deserves a moment for himself.

In overtime, after James Neal shot a puck wide of Nilsson, Sidney Crosby picked the pocket of the defender, and well...I'll just let the GIF speak for itself.

The Penguins were down 2-0 early after a bad MAF goal, so getting out of the building with 2 points is certainly nothing I will decline.

Other:

Fleury made a big penalty shot save on Frans Nielsen.

Neal and Malkin still clicking at a ridiculous level.

Crosby and Malkin still top of the league in points. Great stuff.

The Pens will travel back to Pittsburgh to take on the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night at Consol Energy Center. 7:00 pm.
