Pens lines for game against Jets

Ahead of tonight's game against the Winnipeg Jets, here's how the lines look for the Pittsburgh Penguins:

Chris Kunitz - Sidney Crosby - Pascal Dupuis
Matt Cooke - Evgeni Malkin - James Neal
Beau Bennett - Brandon Sutter - Tyler Kennedy
Tanner Glass - Joe Vitale - Craig Adams

Before all of the internet flips out "OMGGGG why isn't Bennett playing as a top six" take a second and calm down.

Good? Good. Nothing is written in stone, coach Dan Bylsma has said Bennett "may" move around, which surely means that line combos above won't even last the first period, if Bennett proves he can handle the pace and speed of an NHL game.

Also, it should be remembered that, lost the Erik Karlsson injury, Matt Cooke was playing very well on the Malkin-Neal line. Cooke had a primary assist on the eventual game winning goal and also pitched in 3 shots on goal, 2 hits and 3 blocked shots which is MILES more tangible production than Boychuk and the departed Eric Tangradi brought to that second line role.

For now, believe it or not, there's nothing wrong with breaking in Bennett a little slow and giving him a spot on a 3rd line, with still a pretty good center in Sutter. If things go well, we'll go from there and probably see him get a chance to play with a super-star tonight. If not, he's still 21 years old and going to get his first crack to play in the NHL. Nothing will be ruined and the sun will still rise in the east tomorrow.

....Assuming that asteroid doens't get us, that is.
