Pittsburgh will face Ottawa for the fourth time in seven postseasons starting Tuesday. It's the first time the two clubs have met in a series beyond the first round.

Pittsburgh and Ottawa didn't play their first head-to-head postseason series until 2007, 40 years after the Penguins joined the NHL and 14 seasons into the Senators' franchise history.

Since then, they've faced one another three times in the last six postseasons, each time in the Quarterfinals round. The clubs are set to begin their fourth playoff match in seven years Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.

From the second round forward, all games will appear locally on national networks. NBC Sports has been tagged for the first five contests. Games 6 and 7, while unannounced, could be broadcast on NBC.

Pittsburgh is 2-1 all-time in series against the Senators, and won their last meeting in six games in the 2010 Quarterfinals.
