Early this afternoon, news came down that previous Carolina Hurricanes GM Jim Rutherford would be taking over as the Pittsburgh Penguins General Manager.
PIT has fired head coach Dan Bylsma.

Soon after, the news followed reporting that Dan Bylsma would be fired as head coach.
