Definitely an interesting roster. Mike Johnston said he was going to play Fleury a lot in the preseason and it seems like he will.
Defensively, Kris Letang and Rob Scuderi have been playing together a lot, but are split here. Despres/Bortuzzo have been going together everywhere and a minor-league pair of Chorney-McNeill makes a lot of sense. Are the Pens planning on using Scuderi/Martin for this year? Seems like it'll get a test run here.
Offensively, no real surprises but some interesting combos. Sutter has played a lot with Steve Downie and Bennett, Downie isn't playing but Spaling and even Jayson Megna and Blake Comeau could be potential candidates to play some 3rd line wing.
It will also be interesting to see all the rookies (Dea, Archibald, Wilson, Sundqvist) get their first chance to play in a real NHL game, even if it is pre-season. Especially since Dea has been playing a lot with Hornqvist and might have a chance to play there with a legitimate NHL player.
