The Pittsburgh Penguins went up 2-0 tonight. And even took a 3-2 lead after 40 minutes.
But it wouldn't last. The one line team known as the New York Islanders had a really good one line with Kyle Okposo scoring 4 goals and notorious Penguin killer Michal Grabner scoring on an empty net to push NYI to a win tonight.
Sidney Crosby scored twice and set up a goal by David Perron for the Penguins (26-11-6), who have lost three of four to New York this season. Fleury finished with 29 saves.
Crosby has 88 points (27 goals, 61 assists) in 49 regular-season games against the Islanders. He and teammate Evgeni Malkin, who had an assist, each have 50 points, two behind League leader Jakub Voracek of the Philadelphia Flyers.
Okposo was the difference maker. Monster game.
