The Pittsburgh Penguins dropped a 3-2 game in overtime after the Flyers devolved a game featuring 93 penalty minutes after noted piece of shit Zac Rinaldo taking out Kris Letang with a dirty boarding hit late in the first period that really spiraled the game out of control. Rinaldo will be getting suspended, yet again, but the bigger issue is taking out the Pens number 1 defenseman for an unknown amount of time.
The one thing though- Mike Johnston has to learn about timeout usage. He took his timeout deep in OT so his number one unit of Brandon Sutter , Paul Martin and Rob Scuderi could catch their breath. Unfortunately, Claude Giroux , Mark Streit and Jakub Voracek also got the same opportunity and won the game. Let's not do that again, eh Mike?
As far as everything else, who knows or cares. Pittsburgh at least gets one point in the standings, and can move on. The Flyers can celebrate their best win of the year, since their season ends with the regular season.
