Beau Bennett injury update: Injured again :(

The Pittsburgh Penguins talented, but oft-injured winger is back on the shelf with an unnamed injury

Beau Bennett made it 3 games into the 2015-16 season without getting hurt.

The Penguins often give little to no information about injuries, and often their updates aren't even accurate/timely, so it's not really even worth listening to Johnston. The last Pens injury was to Pascal Dupuis and Johnston suggested it was "precautionary" and said he might return to practice the next day. The next day he was announced out 4-5 weeks with an undisclosed injury.

Still stinks for Bennett and I guess we'll have to wait and see when we see him again. Bennett was arguably the Pens best and most consistent forward in the first three games of the season and had found some chemistry with Nick Bonino.

And, ironically for as deep as the Penguins thought they were their lineup tonight for only the 4th game of the season will include Kevin Porter, Bobby Farnham and 18 year old Daniel Sprong.

Bennett has had a series and myriad of knee and wrist injuries that have basically derailed the former first round picks career. Can't help the team from the trainer's room, and even though it's not his fault he just hasn't been able to stay healthy for any length of time.

And, for the "for what it's worth" file, maybe some hope this isn't a bad one:
