Good afternoon one and all,

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. The short NHL break is over and the Pens hit the ice in Minneapolis tonight against the Wild. There weren't many goings-on during the hiatus, but let's recap the few things that did happen.

Crosby and Letang went through the morning skate without issues and are good to go tonight. Fleury didn't make the trip and Matt Murray will get the start. [Penguins]

Scott Wilson was recalled from Wilkes-Barre to fill in the last forward roster spot. [NBC Sports]

World Juniors tourney started today in Finland and one of the best U20 players in the world didn't even last a period. Maple Leafs prospect William Nylander was blindsided by a hit and suffered an apparent head injury in Sweden's 8-3 win against Switzerland. [Toronto Star]

Finland's alcohol consumption rules in sports arenas came as a bit of a surprise to some Canadian fans. Maybe they'll be less rowdy than usual. [Sportsnet]

I like Canada every day of the year except when we play them in hockey. Go Alex Nedeljkovic and Team USA!
