Chris Kunitz's nanny arrested for stealing from him

Penguins player Chris Kunitz allegedly betrayed by someone he trusted in his house.

Billy Hurst-USA TODAY Sports

Chris Kunitz is in a slump this season, and who's to say what excuses might be, but hockey players are human beings and have a lot going on in their lives, just like any "regular" person. Kunitz's nanny was arrested for allegedly stealing from his house. From WPXI (who also has a mug shot):

Andrea Forsythe, 26, who worked as a nanny for Chris Kunitz and his family, has been charged by police with theft.

Police said Forsythe stole a pair of diamond earrings from the Kunitz's Collier Township home and then sold them  for cash at a jewelry store in Robinson Township months later.

Unfortunate situation, and a tough one for the Kunitz family, I'm sure. That sucks to be stolen from, especially from someone trusted and that you trusted around your belongings, and more importantly, children.

Kunitz missed time this year with a broken foot and finished with 40 points in 74 games. He has 1 goal and 2 assists in the series against the Rangers so far, with all of the points coming in the Pens Game 2 win.
