The Penguins take to the road for their annual trip to Nashville.
Expected Nashville lines
Calle Jarnkrok - Ryan Johansen - James Neal
Filip Forsberg - Mike Riberio - Craig Smith
Colin Wilson - Mike Fisher - Viktor Arvidsson
Cody Bass - Colton Sissons - Kevin Fiala
Roman Josi / PK Subban
Ryan Ellis / Mattias Ekholm
Matt Carle / Yannick Weber
--Their top 6 has been pretty flexible with a lot of movement around during the games but their bottom six has been more stable with the checking lines.
Nashville, a trendy preseason pick to go far this year, comes into tonight's game with just a 1-3-0 record. Not the best start, but the season is still very young. To make matters worse, they will be the tired team tonight, having lost 5-3 last night in Detroit.
The Penguins, of course, will not be feeling too sorry for them with all the injuries that Pittsburgh has already endured to their lineup. And as we saw just on Thursday with a tired, depleted-down-to-4-defensemen Pens team beating a much stronger team on paper in SJ, so anything can happen on a given night in the NHL.
On this given night, let's hope for a fun game between two of the more interesting teams in the league and hopefully, perhaps most importantly, no more injuries. Go Pens.
