Today is easily the number one day for pumpkins. They’ll be out and about everywhere; it’s officially their day, now.
It’s also been that time of year to use pumpkins as a canvas. Whether painting or carving them (or sometimes eating them, even), pumpkins get used in a ton of different ways in October.
And what better subject for pumpkin art than the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Pittsburgh Penguins? While October means Halloween, it also means hockey. The fit is perfect.
With that, I’d like to share some of the best Penguins pumpkin art. There have been the fair share of pumpkins dressed up as Stanley Cups or with the Penguins logo carved into them, all of which are definitely impressive; then there are the levels Twitter user Christine took them to.
Now that is some next level pumpkin carving - that takes a ton of skill and talent. And just this once, Marc-Andre Fleury, Sidney Crosby, and Evgeni Malkin look good in orange.
Just this once, though. Happy Halloween!
