Pens head to the Big Apple for Thanksgiving Eve showdown with Rangers

Off day for the Penguins as they hit the practice rink before heading to the Big Apple for the back end of a home and home series against the New York Rangers. The Rangers took the first game 5-2 on Monday night and the Pens will look to return the favor this evening at Madison Square Garden. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM on ROOT Sports.

Jake Guentzel was the star on the ice Monday night but off the ice it was his family who claimed the spotlight and a place in our hearts forever. [Penguins]

In the next step of his recovery, Derrick Pouliot has been sent down to Wilkes/Barre-Scranton for a conditioning assignment. Pouliot will play three games with the Baby Pens before being reevaluated back in Pittsburgh. [Penguins]
