Pens Points: Happy Leftover Day

Gonna keep this short and sweet because I know everyone is trying to recover from a day of feasting.

While you gorge yourself on leftovers this weekend, the Penguins will be back in action to keep you entertained.

This afternoon the Pens are on the road to face the Minnesota Wild. The Wild won the first meeting 4-2 earlier this month.

After the game ROOT Sports will broadcast a special documentary on the history of the Pens franchise. The film will be nearly 3 hours long so buckle in.

Saturday the Pens return to PPG Paints Arena to host the New Jersey Devils. This will be the first meeting between the division foes. It marks the return of Beau Bennett and Ben Lovejoy to Pittsburgh after both joined the Devils in the offseason.

That’s all I have. Lots of hockey to give you an excuse to lie around all weekend and relax.
