Sidney Crosby is having quite the season. Another two-goal game, and he’s now up to eight goals: the most out of everybody in the NHL this season.
He’s only played six games, remember?
Turns out, though, there’s more to being the best player in the world than just scoring lots of goals. (Although that definitely, definitely helps.) It’s all the insane little things Crosby does that you don’t even necessarily pick up on right away that really makes him what he is.
Remember against the Sharks when he lost his stick, and played soccer for a bit?

That’s just nuts. The amount of control he manages with a puck not just while being chased down and hounded for it, but also when he’s without a stick is ridiculous.
Those are just the kinds of things Crosby can do - while leading the NHL in goals scored even after missing the start of the season due to a concussion. No wonder he’s the best.
