The Penguins announced their alumni roster for a game in Philly, and it's pretty legendary:
Alumni team members Trottier, Bourque, Loney, Gordie Roberts and Grant Jennings all won back-to-back Cups with the Penguins in 1991 and 1992. Other Stanley Cup champions on the Pens roster include Tyler Kennedy (2009) and Jeff Chychrun (1992).
Also skating for the Penguins will be Doug Bodger, Mike Bullard, John Chabot, Kim Clackson, Dave Hannan, Mark Kachowski, Mitch Lamoureux, Francois Leroux, Ted Nolan and Dennis Owchar. Goaltenders will be Jean-Sebastien Aubin and Jocelyn Thibault.
The Penguins coaching staff will include Craig Patrick, Eddie Johnston, Pierre Larouche, Rick Kehoe and Duane Rupp.
Game time is 7 p.m. on January 14.
Greg and Ryan Malone will make up a special father-son duo and Jamie Leach (Pens Cup champ) will play against his father, Flyers Cup champ Reggie Leach. The popular Colby Armstrong will be back in the black-and-gold as well.
It remains to be seen who's on the Flyers roster, but unless wheelchairs are involved it's unlikely they'll have 8 Stanley Cup champions (who, you know actually won it with Philly).
It's just too bad Rob Brown isn't on the team for old time's sake.
