This is the first piece of many this summer about the travels of the Stanley Cup this summer. The Penguins claimed it on Sunday night and it's already been a whirlwind. Monday they came back from California and had one of the legendary raucous pool parties at Mario Lemieux's house. Yesterday, of course was the parade with hundreds of thousands of Pens fans there to help the team celebrate.

Today, as fortune would have it, the team didn't have to go far to make it to a major tournament in golf, since this year's U.S. Open is being held in Oakmont.

For some reason a large grouping of players- including Scott Wilson, Justin Schultz, Beau Bennett, Eric Fehr, Brian Dumoulin, Conor Sheary have taken a liking to Keegan Bradley. He's known as the "People's Golfer". I know nothing about golfing, a google search reveals this is a Barstool Sports thing so I'm definitely in the dark on it.

Note: This marks the first of what will be a recurring series this summer where we track, follow and bring you the adventures of the Stanley Cup as it makes the rounds and adventures throughout the world with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Stay tuned for more, which will be grouped under the box up top that says "2016 Summer of Stanley"!
