The beginning of the season saw Lovejoy and Maatta together, which didn't end well and soon became Dumoulin+Lovejoy, which performed much better, and then eventually Lovejoy being placed on the 3rd pair with Derrick Pouliot towards the end of the season.

Lovejoy scored the first goal of Game 3 in the SCF. The Pens would go on to lose the game, but no fault of Lovejoy who also was credited with an assist in that game for shooting a puck on net that Patric Hornqvist tipped in. This shows the best part of Lovejoy's game, again not all that pretty but he gets the puck on net simply and quickly and something good happened on this occasion.

Poll below: Rank Lovejoy's season, and in the comments the question will be is it going to be difficult for the Penguins to replace the 17 minutes a night he was giving them?
