New, comments

The Penguins and Sharks go to overtime in Game 3 and it bites this time.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Saturday night brief-cap.

Penguins score with Ben Lovejoy shooting from the point deflecting off Roman Polak

San Jose Sharks tie it with Justin Braun throwing a shot from the point that Matt Murray never sees.

Pens jump out to the lead again with Lovejoy throwing a puck on net that Patric Hornqvist tips in for a 2-1 lead.

SJ ties it late with Joel Ward blowing a slapper by Murray.

Overtime

Joonas Donskoi pulls the puck from behind the net and blasts one up over Murray. Sharks win.

Welp. Pens up 2-1 in the series and can still get the all important split on the road next time out. For now, tough times.
