The Pittsburgh Penguins announced their roster for a 3 day rookie tournament up in Canada, this year from Sep 16-18. Also participating as in years past will be the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Ottawa Senators.

Here's the Pens squad from the team:

As usual a lot of free agent invites, the group is definitely highlighted by Pensburgh Top 25 Under 25 players in Oskar Sundqvist (#12) and AHL veterans Dominik Simon (#16), J-S Dea (#18) and Josh Archibald (#21). Exciting new defensive prospects Lukas Bengtsson (#11) and Ethan Prow (#15) and recent signings in Teddy Blueger (#17), Thomas DiPauli and Jake Guentzel (#8) will be playing as well as recent 3rd round pick Connor Hall (#22). The Pens will be well-represented in net as well with Tristan Jarry #14).

Finally, if that prospect news doesn't get you really excited, here's a bonus go home video for the weekend (via r/hockey) showcasing a bunch of clips that demonstrate the mastery Sidney Crosby has protecting the puck
