Great start for Olli Maatta, in the first exhibition game for the World Cup of Hockey, he scored in OT to lift his Finns over the Swedes.

Here's another angle of the shot that beat the goaltender Jhonas Enroth like a rented mule.

Maatta's Penguins teammates Carl Hagelin (4 penalty minutes, 3 hits in 11:11 played) and Patric Hornqvist (1 shot on goal, 4 hits in 13:10) suited up for Sweden in the losing effort.
In the other game so far, Russia defeated the Czech Republic 4-3. Evgeni Malkin (2 SOG, 2 hits, 12:39 played) was pretty quiet in his first game this fall.
Matt Murray and "Team North America" play "Team Europe" later tonight and then tomorrow night at 7PM Sidney Crosby will once again captain Team Canada in their opening game against the Americans.
Exhibition games will continue to trickle in until the tournament's games that count start on Saturday September 17th. Until then, nice to see Maatta start out his 2016-17 season with a big goal against his country's biggest rival.
