The Penguins make one last trip to Joe Louis Arena to play the Red Wings

Leon Halip-USA TODAY Sports

One last game for the Pittsburgh Penguins in Joe Louis Arena, as the Red Wings prepare to close the building at the end of the season and move into their brand new home.

It'll be sad, since "The Joe" is one of the league's older buildings and has a lot of history and charm. Obviously for Pittsburgh the top moment would be the June night in 2009 when Max Talbot scored two goals and Marc-Andre Fleury and the boys held on for dear life to keep the puck out of the net and win the franchise's third championship in a thrilling Game 7.

Fittingly, Fleury gets the start for the final Pens game in the building. The stakes aren't as high but the team will be looking to at least salvage one win out of what's been a pretty dreadful three game road trip with losses in Washington and Ottawa earlier in the week.

I won't miss those end-boards that kick pucks out like crazy (and surely neither will Fleury). May those burn in hell. Uhh, anyways, LGP!
