Here are your Pens Points for this Tuesday morning...
The Caps and Pens faced off for the second time in five days last night. To put it lightly, the game was nuts. The Pens were down 3-0, scored five consecutive goals in rapid fashion, and they chased Braden Holtby from the net. The Capitals responded from the onslaught and tied the game at 5. Evgeni Malkin notched a hat trick and subsequently put the Pens up 6-5. Oh, and this was all done in the 2nd period. Sidney Crosby scored in the 3rd period, but the Caps would not go away and would tie the game at 7. Conor Sheary notched the game-winner in OT as the Pens won 8-7. [Pensburgh Recap]
