Penguins shake off the rust to complete their end of a city-wide Florida sweep on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Lightning v Pittsburgh Penguins

Coming off an eight day break, the Penguins picked up right where they left off on Sunday and cruised to a 6-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Going down 1-0 early into the second period the team responded like they have all year, eventually overwhelming the Lightning to take control and grab their first win of the new year. The victory helped complete a city-wide Florida sweep on Sunday to go along with the Steelers playoff victory over the Dolphins. [Pensburgh]

Next stop for the Pens will be in Washington D.C. for a Metro division showdown against the rival Washington Capitals on Wednesday night at the Verizon Center.
