Pens Points: Superstars Come to Play in the Big Apple

The Pens and Rangers engaged in a fun, back-and-forth game last night, one that needed a last-minute goal from Sidney Crosby and an OT winner from Evgeni Malkin. [Recap]

Before the game, it was announced that Ian Cole was taken off of Injured Reserve and was promptly placed back into the lineup. Matt Hunwick subsequently was placed on I.R. with an undisclosed injury. [Penguins]

As it relates to Ian Cole’s injury, it just so happens his father, Doug, is a dentist. Doug Cole is learning to cope with Cole’s missing chompers. [Post-Gazette]
