Penguins vs. Lightning Recap: Oof

Another back to back, another loss. The Pens fall to the Tampa Bay Lightning

NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins at Tampa Bay Lightning Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

For the third time in the young 2017-18 season the Pittsburgh Penguins played a back-to-back second game. For the third time in three times the Penguins lost and lost badly.

It only took 1:36 for the Tampa Bay Lightning to assert dominance with Nikita Kucherov scoring on Antti Niemi.

And it was all down here from there.

The Pens have been awful for shots and chances allowed. On the second night of back to backs they might as well haven’t have showed up. Which, whatev, 1 of 82. But Niemi isn’t making saves and the team in front of him isn’t doing much either.
