Don’t bet against Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in Washington against the Capitals

The Penguins superstar duo have their fair share of points when playing on the road in our nations capital.

The Penguins are set to drop the puck tonight against the Washington Capitals. If there’s something we should almost rely or count on, it’s the Pittsburgh duo of superstars -- Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, scoring when on the road in our nations capital.

Dating back to the beginning of the Crosby and Malkin era, both have averaged more than a point per game on the road in Washington at the formerly named Verizon Center and now named Capital One Arena.

Hockey Reference

In 34 games played, Sidney Crosby has scored 45 points.

Malkin isn’t too far behind him, with 33 points in 30 games.

I’d bet on at least one of the two of them hitting the scoresheet in some manner yet again tonight.
