Conor Sheary’s name is pronounced differently than we all thought

When Conor Sheary was called up to the Penguins and the NHL during the 2015-16 season, it was like finding lightning in a bottle that continued even further into the 2016-17 season.

Last night, Penguins and PPG Paints Arena PA announcer Ryan Mill let it be known to all of us that his name wasn’t being pronounced properly.

Seriously? I never considered this to be a possibility.

Sure enough.

I guess it is true what they say — you learn something new everyday.
