With the Penguins and Coyotes set to square off tonight at PPG Paints Arena, there are a few different angles one could look at when they think of looking at this game.
- Rick Tocchet, former Penguins assistant coach, now Coyotes head coach, back in town for the first time since he has left the team?
- Arizona Coyotes, dreadful start to the season, only 2 wins in their first 16 games?
Both of these would be valid angles to take and discuss, but the one I find myself looking at is a young man by the name of Clayton Keller.
It's Clayton's world and we're just living in it. #ClaytonCalder pic.twitter.com/HvsfGmqabw

The young rookie, only 19 years old, and a good American boy, has taken the league by storm, with 11 goals scored in 16 games already. This is good enough for 4th place in the NHL, behind Nikita Kucherov, John Tavares, and Alex Ovechkin. Pretty good company for a rookie.
Speaking of rookies....

Most recently (via Daily Faceoff), Keller has been skating on a line with Brendan Perlini and Christian Dvorak.

I would think it’s fairly safe to assume that he and his linemates aren’t seeing top competition that the Stepan line is, and that might be helping him get some better ice time against weaker opponents, but 11 goals and 19 points in 16 games speaks for itself.
Most points in a players first 19 games in franchise history:

1. Teemu Selanne 14-12-26
2. Dave Christian 9-13-22
3. Clayton Keller 11-8-19
My money is on another goal from Keller tonight, so the Penguins better watch out.
