Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin took to the parking lot for a fierce zamboni race between teammates.

As teammates, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have accomplished almost everything there is to accomplish as hockey players. From individual awards like the Hart Trophy and Art Ross Trophy to three Stanley Cup championships as a duo.

Both Crosby and Malkin are hyper competitive athletes who consistently perform at the top of their game and are widely considered two of the best players to ever play the game of hockey.

On a cloudy day in Pittsburgh, Crosby and Malkin went head to head in a fierce battle off the ice.

The two superstars met in an empty parking lot behind what I am assuming is the team’s practice complex in Cranberry and raced zambonis to prove who is the best player once and for all.

I’ll let the video do most of the talking but as you can see, Geno prevailed over Sid in a photo finish after almost taking out a parked car in the process.

Regardless of who won the race, I think we can all agree that we are truly blessed to have them both in Pittsburgh, lacing it up every season as teammates for the Penguins.
