It’s weird, funny, maybe even a little crazy when you see certain streaks or trends in sports. Whether it be something like the Penguins going forever and ever without winning a game in Philadelphia, or the Penguins losing eight straight playoff OT games just a few years back, they just make you go “huh.”

Enter the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs, specifically this second round series between the Pens and the Washington Capitals.

We go to a Game 7.

On the other side of the coin, the Pittsburgh Penguins, as a franchise, have never lost a Game 7 on the road in the playoffs.

Something’s got to give tomorrow night. One of these streaks will be ending. Let’s hope it’s the right one, for our sake.
