A day late, but this summer we'll try to track the happenings of the Stanley Cup as the Pittsburgh Penguins enjoy the prize again. After winning the Cup on a Sunday night and celebrating in Nashville, the Pens returned home on Monday June 12th with Lord Stanley carried out of Tennessee by the only ten I see, Phil Kessel.

The Pittsburgh fire department was there to offer a special welcome when the Pens touched down back in the 'Burgh.

Being the captain has it's benefits, as Sidney Crosby deplanes with the Cup and basically doesn't let it out of his sights for the rest of the day.

It didn't take long before there were Crosby and the Cup sightings all around Sewickley including the Rite Aid. Hey, you're not just going to leave Stan in the car when you have to go to Rite Aid.

And Safran's Supermarket:
As night fell, then the boys had a classic and traditional Penguins Cup pool party, at the captain's house. And the big guy even got in on the fun:

Tom Sestito and Kessel get a moment.

And that's about all that's fit to print for Monday. The Cup came back to PA and true to Brian Dumoulin's promise many beers were drank.
2017 mission accomplished. Now the Pens are making you get another shirt to celebrate. Just play, baby!https://t.co/AM5HpNsXad
