For the second time in as many Saturdays, the Penguins will take on the Montreal Canadiens. This time it’s north of the border and represents Pittsburgh’s first away game of the 2018-19 season.
Last week as a rude awakening for the Pens, who didn’t seem to respect their opponent or bother to play the right way as they suffered their first - and to date only- loss of the regular season by a score of 5-1.
Hopefully getting out on the road and having that embarrassing performance in mind will help spur a better output for the Pens as they face Montreal tonight. A chance for a little redemption.
It’s certainly a marquee matchup any time you get to play on Saturday night Hockey Night in Canada programming for all the players who grew up with that as such a big part of their youths so hopefully that will add a little more special-ness and fun to the ocassion.
