Saturday night playing Montreal or Toronto is always a special, premiere setting on the NHL schedule. The Penguins get that chance tonight as they host the Canadiens. Montreal comes into the game with an overtime loss in their away opener against Toronto on Wednesday.
The Pens, of course, won a thrilling overtime game on Thursday against the Capitals.
Expected starting goalies are the two top dogs, it’s Carey Price for Montreal and Matt Murray for Pittsburgh. No lineup changes are expected for the Pens who did great offensively but hopefully will try to be a little tighter defensively.
Last season the Pens dominated Montreal, sweeping the season series. The Pens are also excellent at home traditionally so they should be looking and expect to come out the gates strong tonight and get another positive result. But, of course, they have a team standing in their way who will have something to say about it.
So we have no more to say except be good to each other, have a great Saturday night and go Pens!
