#Pens Evgeni Malkin just took the ice in a regular jersey for practice. pic.twitter.com/PXOdvo4iDI

Nothing will be official official for sure until tomorrow but this is a great sign that Evgeni Malkin is back and in a normal jersey. All signs are pointing towards a return tomorrow for Game 2. It will help not only to get Malkin back (duh) but the domino effect down the lineup. Pittsburgh was out shot-attempted 14-0 in Game 1 when Carter Rowney was on the ice. Getting him out and bumping Riley Sheahan down for the 4th line might help that group as much as Malkin back will help the 2nd line.
Carl Hagelin is still not with the team and won’t be playing tomorrow in Game 2. Otherwise the Pens look at about full health.

Meanwhile, the Capitals made no changes in their practice on Saturday. They’re also getting healthier with the return of TJ Oshie to practice for the first time in a while. Coach Barry Trotz listed Andre Burakovsky still as “week to week” and not yet back on skates, so he would be a ways away from playing.
