Ready to flip the page to the 2018-19 season? Yep, let’s get to it. Step 1 of moving on is today, when the Penguins announced their preseason schedule for next season. From the Pens:
Nothing too new or interesting here, Pittsburgh only playing three different teams (BUF, DET, CBJ) all traditional and pretty much the most local opponents possible. About the only difference is the traditional “game for kids” as the team’s final home preseason game will be against Detroit this season and not Columbus as seems to happen every year.
We also now know that the annual prospect development camp is going to be June 27-29, which we’ll get our first glimpse of most/all the 2018 draft picks who will be selected on June 23rd.
Oh and the first on-ice day of full training camp starts in Pittsburgh on Friday September 14th, just 13 weeks from today! 91 days. Let the countdown begin!
