So I recently ordered this book from The Hockey News Magazine that covers the fifty greatest players in every NHL franchise's history. It's a really useful book if you're a hockey history nut and it's basically become a bit of a guide for me on NHL history. I've bought ranking books like these before and I normally like to rank the Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates that make these books on their respective SB nation sites. So I decided to rank the fifty Penguins that made the cut on here. Please recognize that this book is based on significance to the specific franchise and not just who was the better player or bigger name.
The book was released before last season so the Capitals have not yet won the cup (Ovi is still the number one ranked Capital anyway) and Vegas is not included as one of the franchises but as it pertains to the Penguins, everything is up to date.
