With a new decade about to kick off, let’s take a look back over the past ten years.

That’s right, the end of a decade — a new one starts tomorrow. What better way to wrap this one up than to highlight some of the best Penguins playoff games of the past 10 years?

So here we go, in no particular order.

“Penguins win it! and they go to the Final” — 2017 Eastern Conference Final Game 7

That’s right, we all know that moment of double overtime against the Senators.

The one when Chris Kunitz sent the Penguins back to the Stanley Cup Final for the second consecutive year.

Over the Glass Three Times in a Row — 2016 Eastern Conference Semifinal Game 6

Only the Penguins could take a delay of game penalty for putting the puck over the glass three times in a row and still manage to come out of it on the right side and win the game.

HBK forever.

Champions Again - 2016 Stanley Cup Final Game 6

A flawless road hockey game to win the Stanley Cup for the 3rd time in Penguins history.

Still amazed by the play of Kris Letang here.

Double Digit Goals - 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinal Game 4

Sure, the series may have been a literal tire fire, but come on.

Scoring 10 goals in a playoff game sure doesn't happen that often, so I felt inclined to include this one.

Champions Again.....and Again — 2017 Stanley Cup Final Game 6

Another road game with potential to win the Cup, another great performance.

Carl Hagelin’s speedy jets to ice the game forever.

Getting Up Off of the Mat to Punch a Ticket to the Final — 2016 Eastern Conference Final Game 7

Down 3-2 in the series to the Tampa Bay Lightning, having forced a Game 7, who else?

We were clearly reminded that Lightning does not strike twice, but Bryan Rust sure does.

Jake Guentzel Enters the Fray — 2017 Eastern Conference Quarterfinal Game 3

Up 2-0 in the series against the Blue Jackets, the Penguins were looking for a stranglehold but Columbus was battling back hard.

Enter Jake Guentzel. He’s been here to stay since this point.

Eliminating the Capitals Again — 2017 Eastern Conference Semifinal Game 7

Another year of being the underdog against the Capitals...

Another year sending them packing.

A Late Game Winner in the Stanley Cup Final — 2016 Stanley Cup Final Game 1

A great start to the game followed by a strong battle back from the Sharks.

It all set up for an intense third period with a remarkable game winning goal.

A Late Game Winner in the Stanley Cup Final....Again? — 207 Stanley Cup Final Game 1

Almost deja vu a year later with a great start, a comeback to tie it, and a late game winner.

I was at both of these Stanley Cup Final games.....no big deal to me.

What are some of your favorites from the past decade?
