[Photo Story] Penguins and Flyers debut new practice jerseys, enjoy practice in fresh air at Lincoln Financial Field

Friday evening, the Penguins and Flyers each took the ice for a 45-minute practice at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadephia in preparation for the Stadium Series outdoor game scheduled for 8:00 p.m. tonight.

The newly debuted practice jerseys the Penguins were wearing were a big hit.

The atmosphere for the Penguins practice seemed quite upbeat and relaxed, seeming as if they really were appreciating the scene and the moment and the ability to have an outdoor practice in that kind of environment.

In addition to the new practice uniforms, the Penguins also showed up with helmets that had a surprise logo on the side of them.

As the Penguins wrapped up their practice, the Flyers then had their turn to take the ice for 45 minutes.

The Flyers briefly showed off their game jerseys for their team photo, but took them off and went with “Philly” branded uniforms for practice.

While we didn’t get to see much of a look at them during practice, it should be a fun sight this evening to see the Penguins and Flyers going head to head with their brightly colored uniforms under the lights.
