The Penguins met the Buffalo Sabres last night in western New York. With the Sabres reeling and already not having the services of Jack Eichel, the team wasn’t in a good place when going up against the surging Penguins. And by night’s end, the Pens took care of business against their inferior foe, winning 5-0. [Recap]

Kris Letang has yet to return to the Penguins’ lineup while still rehabbing his upper-body injury. And with the Penguins’ resident ice-time eater, well, not on the ice, the other Penguins defenders are taking turns by logging the most minutes. [Trib Live]
