With the way things are going across the world, staying at home is the safest and smartest way to get through these next few weeks of uncertainty. And one way to fill the void of sports and entertainment is to merge both worlds on EA Sports NHL 20.
And now there is an official Pensburgh club on NHL 20’s EASHL! It’s a public team so anyone can join from anywhere, and as long as two or more players are online, you can play as a team online in 3vs3 or 6vs6; playing goalie is always an option as well.
I created the league and am captain, but if there’s anyone more familiar the game, I’m more than willing to allow control over any and all the settings.
The official name of the league is Pensburgh and it’s available on PS4. I’ve played a few games already and have gone 4-3-2 as of today. Anyone is welcome to join whether you’ve never played the game before or helped create it. It’s strictly for fun but the wins/losses are kept track of along with all of the common statistics you accumulate in the games.
It’s a fun way to connect with Pens fans across the globe during a time when technology has never been more prevalent in our day-to-day activities. So if anyone is interested in joining, just create a player and do a club search for Pensburgh.
Feel free to try to coordinate some games with people around here if anyone is interested. I’ll create a FanPost in a day or two if enough people join to have a running thread to coordinate when to play. You don’t have to be a Penguins fan or Pensburgh contributor in any way to join. It’s entirely a public team and, again, just for fun during these strange times.
I know I’ll be playing again tonight, so feel free to join in any time and start the conversation here for more games!
